Welcome back, Potterheads! Last week we discussed Evanna Lynch, and what she has been doing post-Potter. This week’s spotlight is reserved for the prankster twin wizard: James more famously known as Fred Weasley.

James and Oliver, now 30-years-old, originally auditioned for the roles of Fred and George Weasley at 14-years-old. At that time, they had little experience in the acting field besides a few plays here and there at their school in Sutton Coldfield. This audition took the boys straight to stardom.

Since James and Oliver hate being referred to as a collective item such as "twins" and would rather be identified by their own personal entity, I will be discussing their lives post-Potter separately.

First up is James Phelps, who played Fred Weasley in the Harry Potter series, who still refers to himself as the "guy who dyed his hair ginger for 10 years" via his Twitter profile.

***SPOILER ALERT: Although in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Fred dies, James is very much alive and kicking! His acting resume hasn't had too many movies added to it due to the fact that he is trying to branch out from acting with his brother as an "item." Many producers just expect them to come as a package deal, but at the age of 30, but the brother's want to have their own identity.

Phelps has starred in Ward 3, The Hogwarts Express Ride at Universal Studios, Silent Witness (TV series), Danny and the Human Zoo, Patchwork and is currently filming Own Worst Enemy. Danny and the Human Zoo also stars Potter co-star Evanna Lynch!

This BBC Music App commercial just aired on March 12, 2016. It's a goofy commercial that fits Phelps' style in my own personal opinion. He's funny as always, and he really does rock the different outfits of all the celebrities he wore for the commercial.

Outside of the acting and wizarding world, Phelps is constantly doing work for different charities and organizations. Caudwell Children is a big charity that Phelps works with. It is a non-profit which focuses on donations to special children for medical treatment, therapy, specialized equipment, and dying wish holidays. Caudwell Children have over 36 celebrity supporters, Phelps being just one of those.

James Phelps acting career hasn't gone as far as he may have liked, but he isn't going to stop trying. I can't wait to see where Phelp's future takes him with acting and hope he continues on with his generous donations and work towards numerous charities and organizations.

Don't forget to apparate back here next week to hear about what the other brother, Oliver Phelps, has been up to since his George Weasley days. If you don't know what apparate means, you're more than likely a muggle and you may just surf the internet to get back here to my magical page!
