Welcome back, Potterheads! Last week we discussed James Phelps, and what he has been doing post-Potter. This week’s spotlight is reserved for the other twin: Oliver more famously known as George Weasley.

Oliver Phelps, now 30-years-old, originally auditioned for the roles of Fred and George Weasley at 14-years-old. At that time, he had little experience in the acting field besides a few plays here and there at his school in Sutton Coldfield. After the auditions, the producer of Harry Potter decided that he wanted Oliver to play George Weasley. This audition took the both Oliver and his twin brother straight to stardom.

Phelps has not done much acting since his fake ginger days. His filmography post-Potter includes Ears (a short film), Danny and the Human Zoo (a TV movie) and Own Worst Enemy which is a film that he stars in with his twin brother (post-production film).
Although it is technically post-Potter (film-wise), he also acted in a brief scene for the Hogwarts Express ride that is located at Universal Studios Orlando. Haven't been there to see it in person? Watch the video above to be virtually transported to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry the wizarding way!

Just like his brother, Oliver lends a huge helping hand of magic to charities. He is involved with Help Harry Help Others, RNLI, Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital and the Teenage Cancer Trust. Even outside of the four charities he is actively involved in, he is constantly attending benefits and giving his time to help those in need. It is always enlightening to know that some celebrities out there are so down-to-earth and humble.

I think the most exciting thing that Oliver has done post-Potter was create his own brand and website. As Oliver states on his site, he is a big fan of sports, traveling and music. So what better way to combine his three infatuations than with a website where he can blog about his traveling, sell sports wear items, share the music he listens to through his own branded headphones and having competitions to get his fans involved? His brand is called Jop World, and you can find his blog posts, videos, competitions and store here!

While Oliver's acting career hasn't quite made it past his George Weasley persona, he has been able to take his life in every direction he could want. He travels, helps people around the world and is able to sell products that he is truly passionate about. Even if Oliver decides to stop acting all together (insert heartbreak here), at least he is happy with his life and doing all the things he loves to do!
